Crepe Cellar revisited

Mikey turned 23 in Charlotte so to celebrate we got a ride from our new friend Rachel and we hit up Crepe Cellar, same place we ate at on the AP Tour. And once again it treated us well.

To start off again we got the pesto brie fries, one of the best appetizers in the whole of the United States. Just like last time they were great. Seriously I don’t know why I’ve never seen these anywhere else. It’s about time they start getting popular.

I splurged a bit more than last time and got the shrimp and grits dish. Good decision. Amazing dish. There were about 8 huge shrimps mixed in with grits all topped with a nice slightly spicy cream sauce that had some bits of sausage in it as well. I love grits and shrimp and the combination of the two was new to me, but made complete sense. So good.

Crepe Cellar you have proved yourself to be a necessary stop for me every time I’m in Charlotte. I expect nothing but good food from you in the future.
