Sushi Train

Upon our arrival in Adelaide, Mikey, Joe, Lewis and our tour manager Tyson stopped at Sushi Train, an Australian sushi restaurant chain. I didn’t know what to expect when Lewis told me it was a chain, but in the end it served up some pretty tasty and interesting sushi at a decent price.

I started with these salmon-wrapped pieces. I honestly don’t remember what the white stuff it was filled with was, but I do remember it was good.

Unagi, or eel, is my favorite sushi hands down.

Cuttlefish. Extra tentacle-y for extra goodness.

The grand finale was this avocado-wrapped unagi and soft-shell crab roll. Fuck yeah.

And for dessert, a bit of green tea gelato. Perfect way to finish a good meal of sushi.
